Production Line Manager

Responsibilities:

The Role:

  1. Supporting Production Manager to ensure whole day to day activities in production are in line with production requirements.
  2. To ensure that all SAP activities related in Production Area are under control.

Functional Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that all production targets can be achieved effectively according to standard quality , valid procedures & SHE regulations
  2. Prepare weekly man power planning for production based on Weekly Program from PSP and their competencies.
  3. To ensure that all necessary reports & records are timely available acc. to the updated procedures/instructions.
  4. Together with Production Coordinator, to ensure that all necessity procedure/instruction are in placed and well trained to all related employee.
  5. Monitor and control daily production operation to achieve production targets.
  6. To ensure that all resources (man, machine & material) that are used for running production lines are used effectively.
  7. To ensure that employee who are working in production area always follow company regulation (i.e. SHE regulations, 5R )

People Management & Development

  1. Ensure effective communication within Production Department internally.
  2. To lead, train and motivate direct reports.
  3. Empower whole human resources in Production Area through coaching and concealing.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: S1 Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Chemical Engineering or other Engineering background
  • Experience: Min of 3 yrs experience in manufacturing company (FMCG or F&B would be an advantage)
  • Technical Skills: Operation management skills are essential. Product, processes and machinery knowledge and understand MRP process. Attention to details and good analytical skills. Familiar with Chemical Process.
  • Knowledge in Safety, Health and Environmental are beneficial
  • Strong leadership and effective people management. Good communication skills and positive behavior. Open minded and willing to work beyond the extra miles.
  • Good verbal and written English
