ASEAN Secretariat or The Association of Southeast Asian Nations was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

Brunei Darussalam then joined on 7 January 1984, Viet Nam on 28 July 1995, Lao PDR and Myanmar on 23 July 1997, and Cambodia on 30 April 1999, making up what is today the ten Member States of ASEAN.

Senior Officer Competition and Consumer Protection

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate Degree in Management, Economics or other appropriate specialist discipline.
  • Extensive professional, managerial and/or supervisory experience, with a minimum of six (6) years of high-level experience in a recognized specialized field.
  • Familiarity with competition and consumer protection policies and regulations in AMSs
  • High-level technical skills and knowledge in areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving, planning and the development of policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate staff and work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in identifying training needs for professional/technical development of staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct both formal and on the job training, and foster the career development goals of staff.
  • Demonstrated sound oral and written communication skills and sound interpersonal skills, including experience in cross-cultural environment and international settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sound working relationships with all stakeholders, especially AMSs, private sector entities, dialogue partners and donor organizations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative work practices.
  • Competency in computer skills with adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook where relevant to the position.
  • Proven ability for accuracy under pressure and adherence to deadlines.
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken.

General qualifications:

  1. Familiarity with diplomatic practices and protocol.
  2. Other required qualities are: computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools; ability to multi-task, work long and irregular hours, and perform outside the usual job scope; ability to function effectively independently and as part of a team; and a willingness to travel frequently on short notice.

Remuneration and Benefits:
Successful candidate will be offered the post with a probation period of six months and monthly salary starting from USD 2,900.
There are other applicable benefits which include housing, medical, education of dependent children, and gratuity.
Upon completion of the probationary period, the candidate will be confirmed for up to three-year contract, inclusive of the six-month probationary period, in the first instance.

  • Sanggup menyimpan rahasia perusahaan.

LEGAL & BID OFFICER

  • Bachelor degree in law (preferably with Master Degree in Law)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in corporate law practice
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Maximum age 35 year- old

SECRETARY

  • Bachelor degree in Secretary corporate Administration, or Social Science (preferably overseas University)
  • Minimum 2 years experience as Executive Secretary (Preferably with experience in engineering and Construction Company)
